However, levers don't create energy. They just multiply the force you apply by changing a small amount of effort over a large distance into a greater amount of force applied over a smaller distance. This is what enables you to do more work in less time, and it is the reason why levers are frequently employed to lift heavy objects or moving large quantities of cargo. This is also the reason behind levers found in many everyday tools such as crowbars and fishing rods, hammer claws and even your own legs when you stand on the hand brake of your vehicle.

Lever/Pad

Lever pad handles, also known as upvc patio door handle handles, feature levers on both sides to operate the multipoint locks. This type of operation requires the lever handle as well as the external pad handle to be installed on the same lock case. This can be a simple replacement of the existing uPVC handle, however it could also require a change in the lock case or a new set to handle furniture.
